CONCORD, N.C. (Oct. 27) — The second day of the World Short Track Championships scheduled Oct. 27-29, 2022, at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway has dawned with blue skies and sunny weather as Crate Racin’ USA combines with DIRTcar Racing to present two of the Eastaboga, Ala-based organization’s most popular classes as part of a 10-division program featuring weekly racers from across the country.
Stephen Pedulla kicked off the festivities last night with a victory in a 20-lap 604 Late Model championship invitation feature, leading flag to flag over a 20-car field to secure the top prize ahead of Jeremy Steele, Ricky Greene, Cody Cubbage and Dillon Brown.
The giant weekend, which has drawn close to 400 race cars in 10 different divisions, includes features for Crate Racin’ USA/DIRTcar Fox Pro Late Models and Crate Racin’ USA Street Stocks.
